"I AM FROM" POEM

I am from outside in the rain playing with my cousins,
I am from in the barn with my horse
Rolling around in the hay,
I am from my house in Chicago running with my dog.

I am from my friend’s house painting our nails,
I am from The Dalles painting a picture of my Uncle, "oh how much fun"!
I am from the road walking to a friend’s house,

I am from the hospital with my brother comforting
Him,
I am from the class room working hard,
I am from the vet, and I give shots,

I am from the creek playing in the mud,
I am from in the class room making a volcano,
I am from in an inner tube sledding.
And hear I am now!

  1. Hey baby, This is an awesome poem. You made me cry when I read it. You should continue to write these because I was really touched. (I especially like the part where you mention Chicago). Lol. Luv Mommy
